Find hidden art and win prizes! Parktacular's miniature art hunt is free to the public, and began on June 3rd, 2010.
St. Louis Park, Minnesota is home to another miniature artwork hunt by William Hessian as part of Parktacular's festivities.
This is where you will find visual photo clues, updates and photo of the hunt.
Two clues per day (updated randomly during each day), as the clues progress they will become more revealing until all ten artworks are found.
Reminder: Some days will feature clues of already found artwork (which will be indicated in the photo gallery below)
This is the fourth Parktacular Miniature artwork hunt by Minnesota artist William Hessian. 'Splash into the Summer' in
St. Louis Park by searching the public parks for tiny brightly colored original artworks.
The hunt is open to all. You search for these original artworks, and if you find one you keep it, and will also
be awarded a prize at the Parktacular festival. During the hunt this page feature visual clues (photographs & more)
to help you in the hunt for artwork. Send photos of you and your firends and faimly on the hunt for artwork to william.hessian@gmail.com
The ten "Splash into Summer" fish are hand drawn, weather proofed and measure one inch by one and a half inches in size.
All art is hidden in the public parks in St. Louis Park. The public is then encouraged to search the parks for these
tiny treasures, and the winners will recieve prizes at the Parktacular ceremony, simply bring your found
artwork (which you get to keep) and an additional prize will be awarded: Awards Saturday, June 19: 5 pm.
REMINDER: only one artwork can be found per family. Families are encouraged to bring a friend, or another
family on the hunt for miniature art. You are also welcome to search for all chubby creatures, but simply only
pluck one, and leave the other hunters.
William Hessian does the Parktacular miniature art hunt as a free service to give back to his hometown, he also
does the art, takes the pictures, hides the art, hosts the website, posts the clues, and runs the art hunt
message board and email communications. If you would like to donate any amount to his efforts please
donate here or support his work by buying his art.
(All questions ands comments please contact William at: William.hessian@gmail.com)
Feel free to talk about the hunt with other Minnesotans here
