![]() The Lucid B Project: Dare to Dream Billy and Brian have decided to try a project which involves trying to train yourself to understand when you are dreaming. If this ability is obtained, the possibilities are endless. The thought of dreaming lucidly frightens some people, but to the Willing Participants the thought excites them. Each day, the Willing Participants will visit the message board (link below) to document their dreams and thoughts. Each of these Willing Participants will hopefully one day be able to dream lucidly and thus do anything imaginable in an environment unlike any other. Start Date: Monday, September 3rd Rules: If you are a willing participant, here are the rules you must follow: - Read over the document and make sure to follow it closely - Focus and do not give up. If you start slacking, the experiment will not work. - Make sure to visit the Message Board every day to document your dreams and any other notes. Basically you will want to explain how your night went (explain your dreams or even post if you didn't have any). The more attention you pay to this project, the more likely it will work. - You can also discuss why you think you had the dream you did, or why you think you didn't dream, or why certain patterns are occurring, etc. - There will be a new thread on the Message Board for each day. If you go to post and one has not yet been created for that day, please create the new thread. Tips/How-to/Information: For helpful information on how to dream lucidly, please read this document. Willing Participants: Brian Felegy William Hessian Kent Langsjoen Kelsey Ericson Lori Hessian Phillip Whipps Message Board: To visit the message board to post updates on your dream experiment, please click here. Want to particpate?: If you are interested in participating, please contact Brian (brianhartesq@gmail.com) or Billy (william.hessian@gmail.com).
William Hessian's Polyphasic sleep experiment 2007
In an attempt to gain more time in each day for art projects (i would prefer to live forever but this is a start) I am experimenting with a polyphasic sleep schedule. I will attempt to take 30 minute naps every 4 hours for one month. At that time I will determine if this sleep pattern works for me, this experiment has been made famous by Steve Pavlina (www.stevepavlina.com). I will be listing a sleep log, creating art works, writing a blog, and recording video blogs of my ongoing success or failure. This page will be the portal to all of my sleep experiment outcomes. Please write me a message with any tips or comments on the experiment. I would love to hear from you or answer any questions you may have: william.hessian@gmail.com I have previously had a very passionate sleep schedule, once i was awake i never wanted to sleep, but once i fell asleep i never wanted to wake. I am now trying to do the exact opposite and hopefully gain more time each day to work on the things i really want to work on.
