The hunt is over- congrats to the winners! If you enjoyed the hunt, please pass it on to the Gazette and other Billings City members, maybe we can do this again in the future! I will be painting & drawing at Lillis Park Monday from 1pm-6pm. Please come by and see me. I would be glad to talk to the hunters, or art collectors. My bearded bunnies are on sale during the trip, as I try to afford gas prices on my art tour. The bunnies are also prizes for the winners of the hunt. Updates and information will appear on the message board. If you have found an artwork e-mail your name, artwork color and park to: william.hessian@gmail.com |

The hunt begins July 5th, 2008 & ends when all ten works are found All winners KEEP the miniature artwork and also are awarded a small prize. The prizes will be given away at a public park on Sunday, July 6th & Monday, July 7. Times and location are listed under visual clues, and will also be e-mailed to the winners. Ten brightly colored and hand drawn miniature Trout artworks have been hidden in the public parks of Billings Montana. Minneapolis artist William Hessian creates the art and then hides the art in hidden locations in Billings. The hunt is open to the public and everyone is invited to get to your local parks and search for these tiny treasures. Each Trout artwork is 1 inch by 1 and a half inches. All ten works will appear on this website prior to the hunt, and visual photo clues will be posted to help aide those art seekers. All winners and art hunters are invited to send in pictures to be added to this very website. The hunt is a very grass roots arts project, please help out by spreading the dates and times to friends, families, children, schools, teachers, park enthusiasts and anyone else that might be interested in the hunt.
In the past two years, William has completed five art hunts
and each was an incredible success. The 2008 Trout Art Hunt is the 3rd of 6 hunts in the
Art as Treasure art tour 2008. Please show your support for Art as Treasure, self representing artist, help the joy of art reach thousands of people and fund artwork in the parks, by donation (using the Paypal links at the top and bottom of this page or by mail). Find out how to recieve a free bearded bunny art print. (Please contact: William.hessian@gmail.com) Feel free to talk about the hunt with other Montanians here
