In an attempt to make sure only my best work live on, I will be destroying any art that is not sold.
The reason I destroy my unsold art is because I am trying to explore a very intense side of art, which includes the balance of creation and destruction. I paint each painting live on this webpage, and then destroy each unsold one if they do not sell. Leaving behind only my valued work, and destroying that which is not valued by you, the viewer.
Canvas Kill Live is a live performance art project and also a web cam live painting show. As seen at the Sample Night Live 2010 at the St. Paul Historic Theatre in Minnesota. All webcam show paintings individually will be available for sale right here on this page. Each painting will only be given 7 days of life to be sold, or else that painting will be destroyed/murdered/killed during the following week's live performance. In past shows artwork has been stabbed and smashed with a chair, violently sawed with a rusty saw, and blended up in a blender and drank. All Canvas Kill Live shows will feature live painting sessions, and some shows will also feature the destruction of paintings(by new and various means each time), on the occasions that the prior painting is not sold.
