The hunt began June 28th, 2008

HAPPY 125th ANNIVERSARY JAMESTOWN! The third annual Buffalo Art Hunt created by Minneapolis artist William Hessian. The Jamestown Art Center posts all visual clues, and the Jamestown Sun typically runs the daily clues in the newspaper. This web page will feature all visual clues to help you in the hunt for artwork. All winners and art hunters are invited to send in pictures to be added to the website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This year there is a limit of one artwork per family. You are welcome to try and find them all, but please only take one! This will help everyone enjoy the hunt. Also, there will be MORE than one clue per day, in fact, probably multiple clues per day! Check back to this site often to see new clues posted all weekend long!

Last years' Buffalo Art Hunt was an incredible success. The beautiful parks in Jamestown will once again become the locations of miniature hidden buffalo. The hunt is part of William Hessian's Art as Treasure art tour 2008. All art is one inch by one and a half inches in size.

Jamestown's Art Center is instrumental in helping raise awareness of the free hunt, but word of mouth is extremely important so please pass on the dates and times to friends, families, children, schools, teachers, park enthusiasts and anyone else that might be interested in the hunt. Also visit the Art Center to see a display of my bearded bunnies, they are on sale for $10 and helps support my art tour (gas prices are making the art tour costly).
