CABIN FEVER DAYS! The fourth annual Buffalo Art Hunt created by Minneapolis artist William Hessian challenges' residents to find his original art. Unlike previous buffalo art hunts, this year hunters need to search for hidden art INSIDE public buildings (as opposed to the public parks in previous years). The Jamestown Art Center location will posts all visual clues in the building's windows, and this website (http://www.williamhessian.com/projects/jamestown2009.html) will feature the clues as they are published. Clues will be released each day to help hunters find the miniature buffalo and win prizes. All winners and art hunters are invited to send in pictures to be added to the website gallery.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since the art will be hidden indoors, please be respectful of all property. Also be aware of the hours of each respective building. Because all buildings are public buildings, many have limited hours or are closed on the weekend. Meaning, some of the clues will be delayed until Monday to accommodate business hours. All art is hidden in plain sight: meaning you will not need to climb, dig, or move anything to find the art. There is a limit of one artwork per family. You are welcome to try and find them all, but please only take one! This will help everyone enjoy the hunt. Also, there will be multiple clues per day! Check back to this site often to see new clues posted all weekend long and beyond!

All winners will be awarded a prize. The grand prize for the "white buffalo" (pictured above) is being donated by the Art Center, and feel free to contact the Jamestown Art Center for more information the prize and the art hunt. Please understand that the art center cannot give out clues or assistance in your hunt for the buffalo; they can only help you with dates, times and prize information. All other winners of the hunt will also get to keep the artwork, and will be awarded an additional Bearded Bunny art print, hand numbered and signed by William Hessian.
