For the sixth annual Buffalo Art Hunt (20th art hunt since 2006), created by William Hessian, challenges' Jamestown, North Dakota residents to find original art. All visual photograph clues can be found right here (http://www.williamhessian.com/projects/jamestown2011.html). The art hunt is only two days long and many clues will be released each day to help hunters find the 12 (yes 12) miniature buffalo and win prizes. All winners and art hunters are invited to send in pictures to be added to the website gallery. This years Buffalo Hunt features the Faces of Community Arts Partners who work with the Arts Center to bring a rich array of arts experiences to the community. This years hunt can be a search for a Face or for the buffalo - either way, you end up with an original piece of art!

Last years' Bird Themed Art Hunt was an incredible success. All art is one inch by one and a half inches in size and will be posted on this website prior to the start of the hunt.

All winners will be awarded a prize. Prizes can be claimed Tuesday, July 5th at the Jamestown Art Center. The grand prize for the "white buffalo" (pictured above) is being donated by the Art Center, and feel free to contact the Jamestown Art Center for more information the prize and the art hunt. Please understand that the art center cannot give out clues or assistance in your hunt for the buffalo; they can only help you with dates, times and prize information.
